At EO James Funerals, we understand that losing a loved one is a difficult and emotional time. Our aim is to provide compassionate and professional service to help guide you through the funeral planning process.

We offer a wide range of services including traditional funerals in our chapel, a church or a facility of your choosing, cremation services, memorial services, and graveside ceremonies. You have a wide selection of coffins or caskets, urns, to personalise your loved one’s service.

Our experienced and compassionate staff is dedicated to helping you create a meaningful and personalised service to honour the memory of your loved one. We are committed to providing the highest level of service and care to every family we serve.

We offer pre-planning services to help you plan and pay for your funeral in advance. This can ease the burden on your loved ones and ensure that your funeral is planned according to your wishes.

At EO James, we know that no two funerals are the same – just as no two people are the same. From traditional services in a church or at our funeral home, to a memorial service, we can tailor our services to suit your needs.

Traditional and religious services

Faiths, beliefs and cultural practices form a fundamental part of the lives of many people in Australia. These beliefs and practices often become more significant at times of personal crisis and isolation such as during illness, and when faced with bereavement. We work with people from any faith and background and can help provide a range of religious services. A traditional or religious service can be conducted by your local minister or EO James can arrange a minister on your behalf. It can be held in your local church, chapel, place of worship or in our chapel at EO James in San Mateo Ave, Mildura

Burial or cremation

The choice between burial and cremation is a very personal one and may be influenced by many factors, including family tradition, religion or the wishes of the person who has died. Whether you select a burial or cremation, you have the choice of whether you’d like part or all of the service to take place at the cemetery or crematorium. Some families choose to have a memorial service after the burial or cremation has taken place. The choice is completely yours and the team at EO James can explain all of your options.

Non-religious funeral services

For those who are choosing to have a non-religious funeral service. These personalised services tend to focus more exclusively on the deceased, celebrating their life, personality and achievements. This celebration of their life is often expressed through music, poetry, a photo presentation and eulogy. Of course there can still be hymns or prayers included, it’s completely up to the family planning the service. It can be held in our chapel or a venue which has meaning to the deceased and family, such as family home, a sporting club or favourite spot on the river or park.

Cremate first, Celebrate Later – A New Way To Do A Funeral

We understand that some people are looking for a No Fuss, Low-Cost way to do a funeral without compromising the celebration of life for their loved one. At EO James we cater for personalised services as well as those looking for an alternative and we are happy to assist you with a cremation which you can then say farewell later at a time and place that best suits you and your family.
