Established in 1954 by Edgar Oliver “Burley” James, our history has been one of compassion and care in your deepest time of need, which was only magnified when we joined the Spain family who took over in 1999.

EO James Funerals now specialize in Cremation First Services and if you desire, help with the memorial service/celebration after the cremation has taken place.

From our unique vision to our strong heritage, EO James Funerals was built to support you during your time of grieving, in addition to helping with arrangements and services we provide comfortable gathering spaces for family and friends, as well as professional and compassionate guidance throughout the entire funeral process.

EO James Funerals is a member of the Australian Funeral Directors Association, an association which has represented professional funeral directors throughout Australia since 1935. The AFDA requires its members to abide by a code of ethics, designed to ensure quality premises, facilities, and professional staff, thus ensuring families a high standard of service.
